Join the RCGP Expert Resource
The Expert Resource gives you the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and ideas to the work of the Royal College of GPs Over 300 GPs have already registered, creating a valuable knowledge pool covering a wide range of clinical, professional and educational areas. Members of the Expert Resource have contributed to government consultations, developing NICE Guidelines, and writing curriculum updates.

Within the Applied Statistics & Mathematical Modelling Group [ASMM] at Glasgow Caledonian University [GCU] the following courses are on offer:
From September 2009 it is anticipated that each of the above will carry 10 CAT Master Level points as will the two new courses planned and listed below:
Current course can either be delivered as a stand alone day, two half days or two evenings. Courses usually based at GCU but can be delivered on site if facilities permit and on dates to suit client if minimum of 10 participants.

Master of Public Health degrees, MPH/MPH-EH, University of Dundee
The University of Dundee offers two postgraduate degrees in the area of public health. Both courses are offered full time (one year) or part time (two years). Scottish residents may be eligible for financial support towards tuition fees via the Postgraduate Students’ Allowance Scheme (PSAS) which offers discretionary awards to eligible students undertaking postgraduate education. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is an internationally recognised qualification that prepares students for leadership in scientific and management roles in Public Health. This course is aimed at health professionals working in or planning a career in the field of public health or related fields, such as primary care or health promotion. The course may also be appropriate for those who wish to study the academic aspects of Public Health or to learn more about epidemiology and statistics for public health or health services research. The Master of Public Health with e-Health Records Research (MPH-EH) degree is aimed at students who want the knowledge and skills needed to carry out complex analyses of routine health data for research, quality improvement, public health and service planning. The course has a strong theoretical grounding in informatics combined with practical exposure to the real world of NHS health records.
