What is the SSPC?
The Scottish School of Primary Care (SSPC) is a virtual school. Its central Directorate is funded by the Scottish Executive Health Department through NHS Education for Scotland. The work of SSPC is however rooted in the work done by researchers, research educators and people committed to using research and evaluating their services across Scotland.
The main aims of SSPC are to:
- To develop programmes of internationally recognised, methodologically rigorous, research which address important issues in Scotland and beyond;
- To increase recruitment to trials and other methodologically rigorous researc;
- To ensure higher level career development opportunities.
